Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical)(Irrigation department):


Can Automobile Engg Branch students apply for UPPSC AE exam 2021?

Essential: Candidate must have a civil or mechanical engineering degree from a recognized university or institution or should be a qualified Associate Member of the Institute of Engineer in the following branch – civil engineering or mechanical engineering.

Preferential: Candidates who have served a minimum 2 years of period in the Territorial Army or must have completed one-year training or must have obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C.


Assistant Engineer (Agriculture/Civil/ Mechanical) (Minor Irrigation department):





Essential: Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in the following fields – agriculture/ civil/ mechanical from a recognized university or institution or passed Associate Member Examination in civil or mechanical engineering.

Preferential: Candidates who have served a minimum 2 years of period in the Territorial Army or must have obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C.

Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Rural Engineering Department):


Essential: Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from a recognized university or institution or passed the Associate Member Examination in civil engineering.

Preferential: Candidates who have served a minimum 2 years of period in the Territorial Army or must have obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C.

Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Public Works Department (P.W.D.) and Mandi Parishad):


Essential: Candidates must have passed a bachelor's degree from a university established by law in India or recognized by the government.

Preferential: Candidates who have served a minimum 2 years of period in the Territorial Army or must have completed one-year training or must have obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C.


Assistant Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical) (Public Works Department (P.W.D) and Mandi Parishad):


Essential: A candidate must have a bachelor degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from a recognized university or university established by law in India or the candidate must have passed the Associate examination from Imperial College of Science and Technology South, Kesingston in electrical and mechanical engineering or the candidate must have passed section A and B in electrical or mechanical engineering of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers/ Institutions of Engineers.

Preferential Qualification: Candidates who have served a minimum 2 years of period in the Territorial Army or must have obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C or equivalent to that.


Assistant Engineer (Housing and Urban Planning Department):


Essential Qualification: A candidate must have a degree in civil engineering from a recognized university.

Preferential Qualification: A candidates who has served a minimum 2 years of period in the Territorial Army or must have obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C or equivalent to that.

Assistant Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical):


Essential Qualification: A candidate must have a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from a recognized university.

Preferential Qualification: A candidate who has served a minimum 2 years of period in the Territorial Army or must have obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C.

Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Nagar VikasVibhag):


Essential Qualification: A candidate must have passed sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ of the associate ship examination or passed a degree in civil engineering from a recognized university or diploma of Institutions of Engineers.

Preferential Qualification: Candidate who has served a minimum of 2 years in the Territorial Army or obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C.

Assistant Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical) (Nagar Vikas Vibhag):


Essential Qualification: A candidate must have a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from a recognized university accredited by Institutions of Engineers or passed sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ of the associate ship examination in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Preferential Qualification: A candidate who has served a minimum of 2 years in the Territorial Army or obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C.

Assistant Engineer (Water)/’B’ Category Jalkal Engineer (Nagar VikasVibhag):


Essential Qualification: The candidate should have a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from a recognized university accredited by Institutions of Engineers or passed sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ of the associate ship examination in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Preferential Qualification: A candidate who has served a minimum of 2 years in the Territorial Army or obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C.

Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Medical Department):


Essential Qualification: A candidates must have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from a recognized university or established by law or its equivalent to that.

Preferential Qualification: A candidate who has served a minimum of 2 years in the Territorial Army or obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C. At the time of direct requirement, candidates who are a trainee on Assistant Engineer (Civil) post will get more preference.

Engineer (Panchayati Raj Department):


Essential Qualification: A candidate must have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from a recognized university or established by law.

Preferential Qualification: A candidate who has served a minimum of 2 years in the Territorial Army or obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C.


U.P Agriculture Service Group “B” (Engineering Branch) (Agriculture Department):


Essential Qualification: A candidate must have a bachelor's degree in agriculture engineering from a recognized university or established by law.

Preferential Qualification: A candidate must have a post-graduate degree in agriculture engineering from a recognized university or established by law or who have served a minimum of 2 years in the Territorial Army or obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C.

Bhoomi Sanrakshan Adhikari/Technical Officer (Irrigation and Water Resources department):


Essential Qualification: A candidate must have a bachelor's degree in agriculture or civil engineering from a recognized university or established by law.

Preferential Qualification: A candidate who has served a minimum of 2 years in the Territorial Army or obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C and must have a diploma in soil conservation and water management.

Assistant Director, Electrical Security (Energy department):


Essential Qualification: A candidate must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a university established by law or must be an associate member of the Institution of Engineers in electrical engineering.

Preferential Qualification: A candidate who has served a minimum of 2 years in the Territorial Army or obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C.

Assistant Director (Factories) (Labour department):


Essential Qualification:A candidate must have passed 12th examination from the Board of High School and Intermediate Examination or an examination recognized by the government or equivalent to that. A candidate must possess a degree in Engineering or Technology in one of the following branches – Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Industrial Engineering from a recognized university or a university established by law.

Assistant Director (Boilers) (Labour department):


Essential Qualification:A candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized university or university established by law or equivalent to that. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of practical training in construction design, operation or maintenance of boilers.
