Megan The Stallion : Watch Miley Cyrus Crash Megan The Stallion’s Set at Austin City Limits Fest

Miley Cyrus made a surprise appearance during Megan The Stallion’s Austin City Limits set Friday, briefly crashing the stage to dance alongside the rapper.

Cyrus, who also headlined Friday night at the festival, shared video of the moment on Instagram, with the singer running up from the side of the stage to join other fans during what appeared to be a mid-set twerking competition.

“Dreams DO come true! Me & @meganthestallion doing !,” Cyrus wrote of the moment in the caption. Megan Thee Stallion responded, “Love youuuu.”

After showing a few moves to the Zilker Park crowd and hugging the rapper, Cyrus quickly ran back offstage. (The festival’s cameras also caught Billie Eilish enjoying Megan Thee Stallion’s set, but she did not partake in the dance-off.)

Austin City Limits continues this weekend and next with headliners Billie Eilish and Duran Duran (but not Stevie Nicks, who canceled her performances due to the ongoing Delta variant), as well as Tyler, the Creator, St. Vincent, Doja Cat, Tierra Whack, Jack Harlow, Phoebe Bridgers, Erykah Badu, Polo G and many more.

Miley Cyrus, Megan The Stallion Dazzle With High-Octane, Hit-Filled Sets At ACL Fest Day 1

AUSTIN, TEXAS - OCTOBER 01: Miley Cyrus performs in concert during day one of Austin City Limits ... [+] Music Festival at Zilker Park on October 1, 2021 in Austin, Texas.

Austin City Limits got off to an inauspicious start on Friday when rain delayed the start of the festival from noon to 3 p.m., but it ended on a literal high note with a dazzling, hit-filled performance from Miley Cyrus.

“You guys are literally making my dream come true,” an incredulous Hardy told the audience as they roared with approval after one song. In that moment, Bexley reminded concertgoers of the joy of discovery at a music festival and proved they’ve got the mettle to dominate a main stage once they build a big enough fanbase. It was a portent of great things to come — both for Bexley, whose eponymous debut LP comes out next Friday, and for the next two days of this year’s ACL Fest.
